  • Wendy Garrett

    Director

    Wendy Garrett is an accomplished producer, director, and creative leader with a multifaceted 20- year career across stage, screen, and immersive entertainment. After earning her Bachelor of Performing Arts degree from Oklahoma City University, Wendy performed on Broadway, in European tours, and across regional theaters. She transitioned into casting in New York City, casting on NBC’s Law & Order, and Feature Films Bad Company, and The Way of the Gun.

    Wendy later served as Director of Theatres for the City of El Paso, where she managed the operations, programming, and marketing of the city’s major performing arts venues. Wendy served as Executive Creative Producer at Walt Disney Imagineering in Los Angeles. She worked alongside a visionary team to develop new entertainment for Walt Disney World and collaborate with Cirque du Soleil and the Blue Sky Research & Development group on pioneering creative initiatives.

    Currently based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wendy is the founder and president of Ignite Creative, a production company dedicated to innovative storytelling in both film and live experiences. Her documentary credits include Eddie: The Cost of Greatness (ESPN, ABC), Life’s Ballet, and The Accelerator. She also collaborated with Francis Ford Coppola as Associate Director on his live cinema project Distant Vision. She produces the Cinema Eye Honors Annual Documentary Awards Ceremony in New York City.

    Wendy is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and Women in Film LA.

  • Christopher Hunt

    Director

    Christopher Hunt is an acclaimed Native American (Cherokee) filmmaker renowned for his expertise in documentary film and commercial production. With a keen focus on humanizing subjects and crafting narratives that resonate with wide audiences, Christopher’s work has been showcased from coast to coast. His debut feature film, EDDIE: The Cost of Greatness, highlighted the story of Hall of Fame basketball coach Eddie Sutton and was released by Lionsgate Films. Garnering national acclaim upon its premiere on ESPN in the spring of 2020, the documentary was praised by ESPN's Myron Medcalf as "one of the best sports documentaries he had ever seen."

    Christopher's recent works include serving as Director for In His Words: The Life and Times of Gray Frederickson, editing The Accelerator: The Robert Wilson Story, and serving as Field Producer for ESPN+'s Our Time: Oklahoma State Football.

    Now based in Austin, Texas, he continues to lead impactful projects for clients nationwide. His portfolio includes a wide range of work featured on national networks, spanning documentary films, corporate brand pieces, and commercials. With a proven track record in both producing and directing, Christopher continues to push creative boundaries, delivering compelling content across multiple platforms and genres.

  • Chad Walker

    Editor/Producer

    Chad Walker founded COPPER POT PICTURES with Dave LaMattina in 2007. Since that time, he produced and directed award-winning films and series on all platforms. His work runs the gamut from I AM BIG BIRD (Tribeca), a theatrical documentary about Caroll Spinney, who was Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch from 1969-2019, to THE ZOO, an Animal Planet docuseries focusing on the Bronx Zoo (as well as subsequent spinoffs set at the Georgia Aquarium and San Diego Zoo), to EXPLORING PLANET FUTBOL, a Sports Illustrated series for Amazon about soccer in far-flung places His latest effort, THE GREAT MOTHER, is an original documentary for Starz which focuses on an immigration activist who is the legal guardian to over 2000 US- born children of undocumented immigrants. Currently, this film is being adapted into a narrative film, which Chad and Dave will produce.
